Just who is this guy?

A question which I personally find quite easy to answer; unfortunately, the answer is prohibitively long and I tend to never finish writing it. So lets just stick to some boring facts for a moment; if you are bored enough, you might also want to look at my Curiosa vitae. Or look at Test results to see how I score on various tests.

Lets start with the inevitable pictures. While I'm typing this, I vaguely look like that guy over here on the right.

Another way of imagining me looks slightly like this; I'm just you're average guy, and you could meet me anywhere on the streets. Isn't that a comforting thought?

Born in 1978, I am now 27 years old. I am one meter and ninety-four centimeters tall (that is 6'4" for you imperialists). Naturally blond hair which used to be dyed black-blue for a couple of years years, until I started cutting it to 4 millimeters a while ago. Dark blue eyes, or at least that is how they appear to me.

As you can see from the pictures, my preferred color for clothing is black, which I shall wear until they make something darker; unless wearing a suit (as rarely as that happens), where I might allow anthrazite for contrast. Jeans, suits, t-shirts and leather, and I don't own Nikes, but prefer to walk in real shoes or boots. Though there have been sightings of me in black and white camouflage, these have not been confirmed by any survivors.

I would personally describe my character as demanding, intelligent, crazy, intense, preferring understatement to the pretentious (as is clearly obvious from this description), forceful, determined, successful, perfectionist, sophisticated, sometimes elitist. Alas, self-reflection has taken a bit of that edge, but be careful, this blade will still cut if need be. Soft and controlled; violent and harsh. Open minded, interested, curious, tolerant and liberal. Cynical, sarcastic. Romantic and logical. Calm and resting, but preferring to deal just a one strategic riposte if prompted. Polymorph-perverted, hedonistic. Consistent, loyal, always true.

I don't drink alcohol (tasting whisk[e]y doesn't count), nor do I smoke; my drugs are the mind to explore with, lust to fulfill, and chocolate to please. You can read more about my lack of enthusiasm for other drugs here: Über Drogen .

Besides computers, which I am not going to elaborate here but rather in Tech stuff if I ever can be bothered. I enjoy philosophy, reading, music, good and great food, and my life in general.

I have also recently - at the end of 2003 - begun to train in the martial arts of Aikido and Ken-Jutsu, which is a Japanese sword technique.
